What is Traumatic Brain Injury?

The brain has six functional areas and each has a specific function.

• Brain Stem –breathing, consciousness, attention and concentration, sleep and wake cycles, and heart rate

When one or more of these areas are damaged, it can have a devastating impact on one’s life and on one’s behavior.
